If you're a big fan of Audi's luxury car range, you might want to get yourself down to a specialist Audi dealer next year, because we have some exciting news for you.

The German car manufacturer has released fresh details on the new Audi A7, A6, A8 and Q8, cars which we can expect to be seeing out on the roads in the next couple of years.

Every aspect of the production of the next-gen cars will be overseen by design director Marc Lichte and all of the new models will be released in pretty quick succession at the end of 2017 in the following order: the A8 first, followed by the A7 and A6 before the impressive Q8 is released in 2018.

The cars being released as part of Audi's design and technology revolution will have eye-catching and adventurous exteriors with sleek, minimalist, button-free interiors.

The new A8 will have autonomous capability, or 'Artificial Intelligence' as it will be branded, which will excite car lovers looking to the future. This new feature will also show Tesla that Audi is keen to compete in that field. The car will be the first to have a "level 3 piloted system" that can take control of the Audi at speeds up to 60km/h. Another really impressive feature of the new A8 is the parking pilot function, which will allow the driver to parallel park after they've stepped out of the vehicle and also park the car using an iPhone. Providing you have the required app on your phone, you also won't have a need for a car key at all.

All three of Audi's large cars will come fitted with impressive hi-tech interiors, with a brand spanking new and improved operating system. Everything will also be touchscreen.

It's safe to say that Audi's technological revolution is very much underway!
